Mainly because I had nothing better to do tonight after getting in I started running the numbers for various Bizarro's websites to see how we're all doing. The sites are ranked by page average views per day.

Note: If you have a wordpress.com/facebook/myspace/livejournal/ twitter/goodreads/etc. website it won't be listed since it's a bit harder to get accurate numbers on these.

If you keep your own stats (page views per/day) and/or I missed your site just throw em up any we'll give it a look.

1. Bust Down the Door and Eat All the Chickens
2. Bizarro Central
3. Raw Dog Screaming Press
4. Crossingchaos
5. Legumeman
6. Eraserhead Press (Blog Site)
7. Afterbirth Books

Top: (200-600+)

1. Tom Bradley
2. Andrew Goldfarb (Ognerstump)
3. Patrick Wensink
4. Eckhard Gerdes
5. Jeremy C. Shipp
6. August V. Fahren
7. Chris Genoa
8. Mickey Z.
9. Mykle Hansen (Combined total Mykle & Help a bear book site.)

You top tier guys have any web traffic tips for the rest of us?

Middle: (100+)

10. Kevin Shamel
11. Jase Daniels
12. Bruce Taylor
13. Simon Logan
14. Carlton Mellick III
15. Jeremy Robert Johnson
16. Andre Druza
17. Jordan Krall
18. Steve Aylett
19. D. Harlan Wilson
20. Jeffrey Thomas

Lower: ( Less than 100)

21. Andersen Prunty
22. John Edward Lawson
23. Bradley Sands (Unless you count Bust Down the Door and Eat All the Chickens here as well. Then we're talking #1)
24. Steve Beard

Yeah, I should move my blog to my site. I get a lot more web traffic on it. Think the secret to getting more hits is to have new content all the time. Not that I've been writing in my blog recently. I haven't had much time due to school.

What's your website, August?

My main site is w00tpwnage, which has been down since September, but still gets around 350 visits/day (Down from around 1,000 when the site was up.)

That said, the traffic is coming from people who are into horror, fantasy, sci-fi, and comics as well as other similar interests.

Then I have Niche Nomad, which I'm using temporarily as a basic redirect to a blogger page for some very basic info and links to my social network pages.

Heh, I encourage you to redirect w00tpwnage to my personal site since it seems like you're not using it.

Speaking of redirects Jeremy should redirect his Haunted House Dressing URL, if he still has it, since it is getting around 100 views/day.

the scary thing, August, is that i have an account in every single one of those things you mentioned in your note. yes, i actually have two blogs, but they're mirrors. may i ask how you get your stats? the stats i get from my website service are basically useless. for me, historically, most of my traffic goes to

loteyrose.com/sogothbabes.html

i've recently been working on a new section of my website which i hope will draw more traffic in the future. but i haven't even submitted it to the search engines yet, so it basically gets no traffic. it's about faeries, alice and ponies. and i call it F.A.P.

loteyrose.com/fap

i need to add more content to it...

I know how to pirate the digital seas pretty well... but thats about all can do.

The other stuff gives me the same headache I get when I do simple math or try and read Kierkegaard... but not nearly as pleasant...

My site's little more than a quick-and-dirty hack job I put together on a Saturday afternoon. I think I avoided ugly, but it's definitely bland. I've been toying with the idea of getting someone to design something a little more reflective of my personality.

The problem is, I have no budget. Can anyone recommend someone who could/would create a template for, like, $50???

Actually, it's (non-unique) visitors, not page views. My bad. There are several quality sources, and the one I'm talking about is statbrain. It's pretty close. Although, nothing is going to be as good as your own quality stat reports.
